Recently, the City University of Hong Kong published a paper in Nature Electronics, introducing a new haptic interface that can deliver multi-dimensional haptic signals directly on the skin, triggering lifelike sensations to further enhance virtual experiences. According to Ya Huang, co-author of the paper, "These multi-dimensional signals work together to provide us with a diverse and vivid haptic experience, which plays a crucial role in maximizing the effective reproduction of human touch in VR/AR."
