On September 16, according to industry sources, Rokid Founder and CEO Zhu Mingming shared on WeChat Moments that Rokid has entered into a billion-level strategic partnership with Focus Media. From the signing ceremony photos, Zhu Mingming and Focus Media Founder Jiang Nanchun were both wearing Rokid Glasses, holding red contract folders and shaking hands in front of a backdrop that read “Rokid & Focus Media Billion-Level Strategic Partnership Signing Ceremony.”
In his post, Zhu Mingming wrote: “Rokid has reached a billion-level strategic partnership with Focus Media to jointly ignite the trillion-yuan AI glasses market. The industry is finally entering deep waters, moving toward scale and full-on competition. Mr. Jiang has quietly supported Rokid for four years. This year will bring many exciting developments, and real breakthroughs are coming soon. To our ecosystem, upstream and downstream partners, and channel allies—let’s work together.”
The news has so far only been disclosed through WeChat Moments, and Rokid has not yet released an official announcement. More details of the cooperation are expected to follow. Nevertheless, from the information already revealed, this billion-level partnership seems to signal Rokid’s next big moves.
